labor day weekend has come and gone.. i spent most of it coding on my various projects while paige read fan fiction studiously. last week, paige’s dress uniform changed to something a little more tight (they had previously wore hawaiian shirts.), and apparently she’s getting phone numbers and oogling men by the thousands up at friday’s. it’s funny how your basic instincts kick in with news like this.. why do I suddenly want to personally destroy every man that comes within 3 counties of my wife? stupid animal instincts.

jboss has already been getting lots of my free time as it is.. it’ll be alot easier to manage once it is my job (a week from today, hooray!). I’ve mostly finished the basic jboss-aop-ide tutorial, but there are some looming bugs i’ve found since the new jboss-aop 1.0RC1 release that i’m trying to figure out. tomorrow at 5 i’m in a conference call with members from all over the world… literally. represented will be Dallas TX, Austin TX, Denmark, and Australia. how can you possibly time such a call with all the differing time zones? it’s nigh impossible.. there will always be someone that has to compromise.

within the next 2 months i’ll be going to atlanta, ga twice. the first will be to meet all the jboss developers (it’s their yearly meeting in atlanta.. they fly in from everywhere), and the second will be for Hibernate training. eclipsecon is also coming up in Feb-March of next year.. hopefully I’ll get a booth for JBossIDE.

honain is finally back from canada today.. man i’ve missed that sweet, sweet lovin’ nice man. he brought me back a nice gift, that is totally appropriate for our relationship: the ladies man. in the spirit of that movie, today’s blog title is a snip from our favorite line in that movie. “Whip out everything you got, and do it in the butt!”. aren’t you glad you read all the way to the end? =)
