now that i’m all settled down from last week, things are back to normal, and i’m loving it. i’ve started working on the webtools contribution today, and i made some pretty good progress.. hopefully i’ll be able to have a prototype out by the end of the week.

paige seems to be coming down with a re-iteration of a quasi-cold she had about a month ago.. i wonder if the texas weather is having this affect, or if it’s a bug going around. hopefully the later.

october 15th marks the first day of ramadan for all my muslim peeps out there. apparently the rule is, you can’t eat or drink at all when the sun is up. since honain is muslim, we won’t be able to work out in the morning anymore because he will get thirsty and want to drink….. luckily though, this only lasts a month, and we’re trying to work out something now (maybe we’ll go an hour earlier?).

i finally released the initial version of the aop extension to jbosside last night, and it looks like i’ve had around 50 downloads (i’m guestimating sourceforge + ?? update site downloads). i haven’t gotten any feedback yet, but there’s still a bit less than 2 weeks to go, and i know a few things that i want to tweak before then, so at least it won’t be totally fruitless.

california is a no go. well, at least for me, for now. paige is still going, she wants to be with shauna before she heads out for the military and becomes a Big Bad Marine(TM). i wish you nothing but the best shauna ;). we timed it so that paige will be gone when i’m in atlanta doing hibernate training for 3 days. we’ll probably need a babysitter for the cat.. which brings me back to my muslim friend..
