well, it looks like opie has officially refused my proposal. c’est la vie. today i’m trying to fight off what feels like either a cold or some other kind of sickness but i can’t put my finger on it. at any rate, let’s get on with some updates

juggling can be such a mess
i’m anxiously awaiting some new beanbags i ordered from the nice folks over at serious juggling. they’re corduroy beanbags and each one weighs in at a nice-and-lite 2.9 ounces. i’ve ordered 7 for if-and-when i ever get that high. in the “new tricks” department i’ve been slowly mastering mill’s mess and will probably have a video of me doing this visually appealing little trick soon.

early last week after seeing paige get really excited about warioware touched! in a in-store demo, i sprung and bought paige a nintendo ds. unfortunately, the store i went to didn’t have warioware touched, but they did have mario 64 ds. luckily for me she’s been enjoying the game just as much as she would warioware.. i think she’ll also enjoy the yoshi game, but we’ll see. in reward for my gift, paige took her paycheck and bought me a brand new sony psp and tony hawk underground 2 remix! i would’ve bought paige a ds a long time ago if i knew this would be my reward :). i’m really amazed by how awesome the graphics are on this puppy.. and the fact that it uses memory stick duo pro means i can go out and buy a 1 gig memory card for it and watch movies/tv shows while i’m travelling. this is beyond sick. i’m really curious about how long it’s going to take for personal UMD burners to become common place so I transfer over my mp3 collection to UMD and just my PSP as my one stop personal multimedia device. i can only dream…
