ever since friday i’ve been sick as a dog. i hate feeling so useless.. it’s been a really long time since i’ve been this sick (at least 3 years). the real kicker is that i was sick over the weekend. it’s one thing if you’re sick during the week and you have to make up some work time, but you only get 2 days a week to sit back and relax! and they were wasted instead suffering and killing time. i’m not really sure how i caught it, but my guess is from apl. i probably shouldn’t be complaining this much, there are far worse fates out there, but i need to rant, and this is my blog so i’m taking the opportunity :).

at any rate, being so sick has given me a little bit of free time to mess with my website, although the things i’ve done have been pretty basic as most of my time is spent reading or trying not to die. my psp couldn’tve come at a better time, really. i tried switching out the wordpress theme on the site to a pre-made theme … but i realized how attached to the hip i am with this design scheme. it isn’t exactly ground breaking or stellar, but it’s mine, dammit. live with it.

i’ve been trying to search for some new music .. it’s time for a new batch of bands and styles to cleanse my pallette with. it’s been way too long since i went on a music scavenger hunt.. any suggesions are highly appreciated as i’ve been stuck in a musical rutt for the better part of 6 months (i’ll listen to anything, so if you dig it, post a link or something in the comments and i’ll check it out). speaking of new music, everybody’s favorite rock band, rx bandits, is back in the studio recording a new album. i can’t tell you how unbelievably stoked i am about this, as they are definately my favorite band in the whole wide world, and every album they release affects me majorly. i’m a bit of a fan boy, i’ll admit it. but they freaking deserve it (plus, i got on their dvd!! i’m a star!!!). also, the rxbandits’ side project satori (featuring steve borth from link 80 / rxbandits .. god i love link 80) has released their first full album. i’m 1 of a lucky 600 to own their first mini-cd with crappy construction paper / glitter glue design lettering. it has a sort of “made with love” quality to it, but other than that it was pretty bad. at any rate, the music on the 4-track mini cd is top notch if just a little under produced. i just ordered the full cd, and highly recommend you do the same if you consider youself a fan of reggae in any fashion. check ‘em out here: mdb records.

i’ve updated the juggling section once again so that all of the tricks i have listed have a demo. if you click on one you should see a stick figure perform the trick until you click on another or click on the stick figure to pause. just a little help for all you non-jugglers. also, i succesfully flashed 6 ball async/sync fountain earlier last week. a major accomplishment i kid you not.
