look how pretty! i was in nashville a few weeks ago when my dad decided to check my blog while i was staring over his shoulder… he of course still uses internet explorer (get with the times man, firefox roxors your boxors). this is when i noticed that any poor, suffering internet explorer users who have visited this site (of which i’m sure there are more than a handful) have seen a crappy, white-filled wonderland that somewhat resembles the true look and feel of my site.
to make a long story short, i was originally going to edit my css to be both standards compliant, and internet explorer compliant, but it was too much hassle (read: i’m lazy), so i loaded up a pre-written theme called red-train, and started mucking with it until i liked what i saw… the result is what you’re starin’ at.
i will probably be making more small modifications as time goes by, but they will mostly be minor.. hopefully this holds me over for a while to come. oh, yeah, and a few more site updates i should mention… i made a new cool logo (which you should also be staring at) that is sort of a mini-album from our trip to las vegas last august. i’ve also officially linked a new sub-section of my blog for all the open source software i’ve written over the years, including my current projects etc. the page is incomplete at the moment, as I’m going to be digging up alot of the code I’ve written to archive it and plop it on my server so those links work, but the main template is there.
as for blogging more frequently.. i’ve nearly lost track of all the stuff that’s happened since i last blogged, so i’ll try to post something about my recent trip to charlotte nc / nashville tn with paige for those who are crying for an update before the year ends
