In it’s biyearly attempt to be bad stewards to open source, Genuitec (creators of MyEclipse, also based here in Dallas..) has awoken the sleeping convention-instead-of-configuration beast of a community that we all love and hate: Apache Maven. It looks like they’ve completely changed the way that maven projects are laid out for their customized m4myeclipse plugin.. you can read about the whole embarrassing affair here:

Can’t say i’m surprised, especially after how they’ve treated JBossIDE/JBossTools, EasyEclipse, and I’m sure others.
