Fame & Fortune.
These are the projects that pay the bills.. Even scruffy developers need food!
- JBossIDE: JBoss development tools for the Eclipse platform.
- JBossAOP: An aspect-oriented framework for application and API developers.
- Eclipse Webtools: Tools for any/all web-based specs for Eclipse.
On the side.
These are my personal side projects. Some or all of these are probably incomplete.
- Warlock: A cross platform front end for Simutronic’s line of text-based games.
- HotLEAD 2: A cross platform Allofmp3.com music downloading and ordering front end. The original Hotlead was written for emusic.com, and has been discontinued (see below).

Oldies but goodies.
This is archaic software that I am no longer maintaining, but people still try finding it for some weird reason.
- HotLEAD: A spiffy downloading client for emusic.com that no longer works due to changes in the XML protocol. If you are daring enough, you can try reversing the new base64 “encoded” version, but I no longer use the service. Download Source.
- Javacmd: A command line utility for evaluating java source code. Requires perl. Download Source.
- jeetk: One of the first GTK ports to Java written using pure Java/JNI. As far as I know, this is only compatible with GTK 1.2. Download Source
- ampd: The oldest of the old. My first ever open source project. A Perl/TK frontend to mpg123 that was spiffy for it’s time (it was cross-platform and most importantly worked in HP/UX). Download Source
The little train that couldn’t.
Every open source coder has ugly ducklings that will never see the light of day. I’ve decided to post every half-baked peice of software I ever wrote that didn’t “make it”. Most of this software doesn’t work at all, and the ones that do will either explode your computer or give you drinking problems. That being said, there’s some pretty interesting stuff in here..
